Exclusive Holiday Deal for Former Students Only

Want to know a secret?
I still find myself thinking about my former students on occasion and miss them!  I wonder if they still like music and if/how they have progressed.  I find that many of my students “come back” to study a different discipline or to pick up where we left off.  I would love it if you could share any progress made musically or acting-wise!  Drop me a line if you have time!
Many of my current and former students are featured on my Ozaukee Talent Instagram account.  See anyone you know?  You might be pleasantly surprised! 🙂

In order to help kick off the local holiday shopping season, Ozaukee Talent is proud to partner with the Cedar Creek Settlement to help provide live music for its shoppers.

The appeal of the Cedar Creek Settlement is that there is a smorgasbord of indoor specialty shops within close proximity.    The Guided Winery Tours and Wine Tasting are a favorite of both locals and visitors.   The historic building also offers unique artifacts that tell the story of the building.

The Cedar Creek Settlement is an active place to spend the afternoon and find unique gifts that help local small businesses.   The building provides a hub of activity that appeals to both men and women.

Make it a date!

Live music will begin at noon on Saturday November 17 just before #blackfriday

Of Mics and Men

Of Mics and Men is the acoustic guitar duo Bill Rotter and Peter Gohsman.  They’ve been together formally as a duo for only a short while. They met a few years ago playing guitar and have played a few private parties with close friends. What brought them together was their mutual appreciation of what the other brings to the music; they believe their collaboration results in better music than either could perform alone.    Bill plays lead guitar and sings; Peter sings lead and plays rhythm guitar.

One of Bill’s highlights involved playing bass in a band led by a schoolmate who went on to a career touring with a world famous musician and band.  Peter’s highlight is having one of his songs played on Milwaukee radio station WMSE.

They play a wide variety of recognizable songs, from artists such as Zac Brown, Van Morrison, David Grey, Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Bill Withers, The Allman Brothers, to name just a few.  Bill and Peter also write their own material and they might work an original or two into a set. Mostly though, they like to share their interpretations of songs that the audience will know and enjoy.
