February 17th & 18th Ozaukee Talent Traveling Minstrels Perform at the Cedar Creek Settlement for Cedarburg’s Annual Winter Festival!
Come in from the cold at the Shops of Cedar Creek Settlement during Cedarburg’s 44th Annual Winter Festival, February 17 & 18 in Historic Cedarburg. This year’s theme is Super Heroes, giving costumed bed race teams and creative ice carver’s lots of heroic characters who fight crime, protect the public and battle super villains to portray. Inside the Settlement buildings there will be live music and free food sampling in several shops. The Settlement is also a good place to shop while thawing out after cheering on the Verlo Bed Races (1:30 Sat.) following the Winter Festival Parade at 1:00.
The Settlement will feature the songs and musical skills of several members of Ozaukee Talent, both days. The various singers and musicians are guaranteed to bring a smile and great entertainment on the Settlement’s main floor from 1:30-4:30 Saturday and 12:00-3:00 Sunday

August 21st – “Vocal Workshop with Rhonda Zolecki”– Cost is $20 and will be held from 4 to 6 pm. Rhonda attended Berklee College of Music shortly after graduating from High School in 1987. There she met with some of the greatest musicians known to the music world; Susan Tedeschi, Delfeayo Marsalis, Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Betty Carter, Tito Puente, Dizzy Gillespie, Sarah Vaughn, Kathleen Battle, Shirly Caesar…and the list goes on. After college, Rhonda returned home to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and it did not take her long to grab a hold of the midwest music scene.
Upon coming home, Rhonda joined the Eddie Butts Band, one of the most popular bands in the city. After leaving Eddie Butts in 1993, Rhonda had the pleasure of performing with Cold Sweat, Hot Sauce, Christopher’s Project, Dynasty, Diamond, Crystal, The George Busateri Orchestra and many more. Rhonda started her own band, Midnight Groove, in 2006. Midnight Groove won the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award (WAMI) for 2010 as Best R&B/Soul Band. Rhonda currently performs with the official band of the Milwaukee Bucks, Streetlife.
Rhonda has also had the pleasure of: Performing with Susan Tedeschi on the Conan O’Brien show, Singing backup for Gene Pitney, Opening for Santana, Kenny Loggins, Susan Tedeschi, The Gin Blossoms and many other achievements and performances.
Rhonda credits her success to believing that God has the intention of making all lives great. It is only when we have the same intention, that it truly can happen.

October 23rd “Blues Guitar Workshop with Alex Wilson” Alex is a professional blues performer from the Midwest who won the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award for Blues and Guitar multiple times. Ozaukee Talent is honored to book him for an interactive workshop for all ages and levels of performers. Feel free to bring your guitar and some questions for Alex. Cost is $20 per person to attend the workshop from 4 to 6pm.
